Real Madrid return to the Santiago Bernabéu today with one clear objective: to build on their winning start to the new LaLiga season.
Real Madrid Have Plenty to Prove
A home opener always brings additional pressure, especially at a club where expectations are extremely high.
Real Madrid have assembled a squad filled with attacking quality and experience. Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior and Jude Bellingham provide plenty of creativity and goal-scoring ability, while the arrival of new faces has added another dimension to the squad.
Mourinho will also be looking for greater control from his midfield and more consistency during the 90 minutes. The victory against Espanyol was important, but the performance left room for improvement.
